DSU/INTASC Standard #3 -- Candidates understand how learners differ in their approaches to learning and are able to create instructional opportunities that are adapted to diverse learners.

NASPE Standard #3 -- The teacher understands how individuals differ in their approaches to learning and creates appropriate instruction adapted to diverse learners.    Through this standard, preservice teachers demonstrate their ability to plan and implement learning experiences that are sensitive to diverse learners.
