DSU/INTASC Standard #10 -- Candidates collaborate with school colleagues, parents, and agencies in the larger community to support students' learning and well-being.
NASPE Standard #9 -- The teacher fosters relationships with colleagues, parents/guardians, and community agencies to support learners’ growth and well being. This standard encompasses the preservice teachers' opportunities to interact and advocate for physical activity both in school and the larger community. Inclusion of learning experiences that involve preservice teachers with community agencies or partnerships would be appropriate.
